Same-Day & Last-Minute Movers in Miami
Need movers today? JM Moving & Storage takes same-day and next-day jobs across Miami-Dade — North Miami Beach, Aventura, Sunny Isles, Brickell, Doral, Kendall and Coral Gables. Call (305) 333-9130 and we will tell you straight whether a crew is available for your date.
Last-minute moves usually come from one of three things: a lease that ended sooner than expected, a closing date that moved, or a problem with a landlord. None of them leave you time to plan, so we keep it simple. You tell us the address, the floor, the elevator situation and roughly what is in the home, and we give you a price before the truck leaves.
What a local job includes: two movers and a truck, moving blankets, shrink wrap, dollies and straps, disassembly and reassembly of beds and tables, and loading and unloading at both ends. Local rates are $250 per hour for two movers and a truck, or $350 per hour for three, with no charge for travel time, fuel, elevators or one flight of stairs. Long-distance moves are quoted on weight and square footage.
High-rise condos and gated communities are routine for us. Most Miami buildings want a certificate of insurance, a reserved elevator and a booked loading-dock window. Tell us the building when you call and we will handle that side of it.
Open 24/7, including emergencies and after-hours: (305) 333-9130 or (954) 498-5899 — [email protected]
Piano, Antique & Specialty Movers in Miami
Some items should never ride on a standard truck. JM Moving & Storage handles upright and baby grand pianos, antique furniture, grandfather clocks, marble tops, artwork, safes and gym equipment across Miami-Dade and Broward.
How we move a piano: we measure the piece and the exit route before anything is lifted, wrap it in blankets and stretch film, use a piano board and straps for stairs, and set it back level on the other end.
Grandfather clocks come apart in a set order. Weights, pendulum, chime rods and glass are packed separately and reassembled at the destination, not thrown in a box together.
Antiques and marble get corner protection, custom cardboard and blanket wrap first, and nothing is stacked on a finished surface. If a piece needs a crate, we tell you before move day, not after.
Tell us the item, the floor, and whether there are stairs or an elevator, and we will quote the specialty handling separately from the hourly rate so you can see exactly what you are paying for.

Full-Service Moving, Packing & Storage in Miami-Dade
JM Moving & Storage is a full-service company, not just a truck and two guys. One crew handles the packing, the loading, the drive, the unloading and the reassembly, so nothing gets dropped between vendors.
Local moving in Miami-Dade. Apartments, condos, houses and offices from North Miami Beach and Aventura down through Brickell, Coral Gables, Doral, Kendall and Hialeah. $250 per hour for two movers and a truck, or $350 per hour for three, full service.
Long-distance and out-of-state. Priced on weight and square footage, not guessed over the phone. You get the number before you commit.
Packing and unpacking. Full pack, partial pack, or just the kitchen and the fragile items. We bring boxes, paper, bubble wrap, tape and wardrobe boxes. Unpacking at the other end is available if you would rather not live out of cartons for a month.
Furniture assembly and disassembly. Beds, tables, shelving, cribs, desks and wall units taken apart and put back together at the new place.
Storage. Secure, climate-controlled units for short or long term, monitored around the clock. Useful when a closing date slips or a lease gap leaves you between homes.
Office and commercial moves. We work 24/7, including nights and weekends, so your business is not shut down during working hours.
Everything is quoted before the truck leaves. Call (305) 333-9130 or email [email protected] for a price on your date.
